Jo + Steph’s Rosie Creek Farms Wedding | Panama City Wedding

Looking for the perfect blend of rustic charm and fairytale romance? Jo and Steph’s wedding at Rosie Creek Farms in Panama City, Florida, was exactly that! Surrounded by family, friends, and the natural beauty of the Florida countryside, their day was full of unforgettable moments, love, and even a few surprises from Florida’s famous weather.

Panama City, Florida is located just a short drive from Panama City Beach (PCB), which offers easy access to the famous sugar-white sands and emerald green waters that attract visitors from all over. While Panama City Beach is known for its lively resorts and vacation spots, Panama City provides a more tranquil, small-town feel with historic downtown areas, waterfront parks, and local dining. Together, these neighboring cities offer the best of both worlds—relaxation and adventure in the heart of Florida's Emerald Coast.

The Perfect Venue: Rosie Creek Farms

Jo and Steph chose Rosie Creek Farms as the backdrop for their fairytale wedding, and it was a magical choice. Known for its gorgeous landscape and beautiful wedding barn, this farm wedding venue provides the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural beauty. From the picturesque farmhouse to the wide-open spaces, every corner of Rosie Creek Farms offers incredible photo opportunities.

A Stunning & Scenic Ceremony

The day began with an emotional first look between Jo and Steph in front of the farmhouse. First looks are such a special moment, and watching these two ladies see each other for the first time in their wedding attire was truly beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight (including mine!). First looks offer couples a private, intimate moment before the ceremony, and it’s always one of my favorite parts of the day to capture.

If you’ve ever planned a wedding in Florida, you know the weather can be unpredictable. Jo and Steph’s wedding day was no exception! As we started the family and wedding party portraits, dark clouds began to roll in. But, in true Florida fashion, we managed to get all the pre-ceremony photos done just before the skies opened up.

The rain delayed the ceremony, but the storm passed quickly, and we were rewarded with one of the most beautiful rainbows I’ve ever seen! Of course, we took advantage of this rare moment and captured some stunning photos of Jo and Steph under the rainbow—it felt like a perfect symbol of their love and resilience.

Once the storm cleared, the skies opened up with the most incredible sunshine for Jo and Steph’s ceremony. It was the kind of weather you dream about for a wedding day—bright, warm, and full of light. The ceremony was full of love and joy, with their closest family and friends there to witness the start of their next chapter together.

Taco ‘Bout a Reception to Remember

After the ceremony, Jo and Steph kicked off their reception with a first dance surrounded by their guests. One of the highlights of the night was their delicious taco bar, catered by Juan Taco. If you’re looking for a fun, casual, and oh-so-yummy dinner option for your wedding, a taco bar is always a hit!

The heartfelt speeches that followed brought tears to my eyes (again!). The love and support from their friends and family were so evident, and it made the night even more special. After the toasts, Jo and Steph enjoyed a private cake-cutting ceremony, which added a personal, intimate touch to their day.
