If you head over to the town side from Panama City Beach, you'll find so many cool, historic places that capture the character of Panama City. And if you're dreaming of moodier, more editorial photos, downtown Panama City is the perfect place to start.

Thistle and Thorne
This bar is one of the best spots downtown for indoor shots. Talk about eclectic and moody, with all the gorgeous details! It's truly my favorite place to shoot bar photos.
Plus, you can rent the place to yourselves for your session, which is such a plus: we beat the crowds and create a private space that's all yours.
Best for: Couples who want a cinematic, date-night-meets-editorial feel, rain or shine.
Downtown Panama City Streets
Downtown also has a bunch of cute spots along Harrison Avenue. The big, historic clock downtown is another favorite, especially during golden hour. Want to take it up a notch? Add a classic car rental for a modern-meets-retro vibe!
Best for: couples who want that timeless, walking-through-the-city look with plenty of variety.
The Marina
My next favorite spot has to be the marina. Whether you're downtown or in St. Andrews, both marinas capture such a romantic feel with all the pretty boats and water that surround them.
Best for: couples who want a softer, romantic mood with a little bit of coastal charm, without the full beach experience.

Wear something you feel amazing in. Darker, richer tones and textured fabrics photograph beautifully in moodier locations. Pick outfits that feel like you and that you can move in.
Book a private space if you can. Renting a spot like Thistle and Thorne means no strangers in the background and way more freedom to relax and be yourselves.
